Programme Lead and Lead Researcher:
Dr Mutizwa Mukute is programme lead, and lead researcher for the ISSC t-learning Zimbabwe case study. Mutizwa holds a PhD in Environmental Education from Rhodes University. He is CEO of the organization Social Learning and Innovation Pvt Ltd which works with Garden Africa and the Fambidzanai Permaculture Centre (FPC). He is a Senior Research Associate to the SARChI Chair on Transformative Social Learning and Green Skills Learning Pathways at Rhodes University. Mutizwa has 25 years experience in facilitating learning and innovation in the fields of Natural Resources Management and sustainable agriculture.
Mr Kuda Mudokwani is a researcher on the programme who is also a prospective Rhodes University Masters in Environmental Education student. Kuda works as the programme manager at Fambidzanai Permaculture Centre (FPC), one of the GardenAfrica project’s called Livelihood Security in a Changing Environment: Organic Conservation Agriculture (OCA) project partners that has built close links and trust with participating farmers.
